In that post I always alluded to how much better the sequels were compared to it. I shall now begin discussing as to why that is the case.

REVIEW: Trick R Treat (2007)

Are you one of those buzzkills who hate Halloween? Do you shun trick or treaters when they knock on your door? Do you sneer at your neighbour who enthusiastically put up decorations commemorating this glorious time?

I’ve always thought that there was a setting that very few horror movies have capitalized on: haunted house attractions. The reason why The Houses October Built is a must-watch is because it portrays the scare potential of these attractions so perfectly.

REVIEW: Small Town Folk (2007)

The covert art of the DVD looked promising, unfortunately that was the only bright spot of this entire movie.

I came across this film while browsing for cheap DVDs at a Blockbuster that was closing down. I spent $6 on it and to be frank that was probably the same amount as the budget for this entire film.
